A Cappella done right- a few updated links

Not sure how I ran into this video or blog, but I couldn't help be wowed. I'd love to see them live; and if the cover of The Wailing Jennys song leave's you going, "Who?"... then you are likely missing the best folk group touring today.

Here you can sing along with them :

The Parting Glass(Traditional)
Oh all the money that e'er I spent
I spent it in good company
And all the harm that e'er I've done
Alas, it was to none but me
And all I've done for want of wit
To memory now I can't recall
So fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be with you all
Oh all the comrades that e'er I've had
Are sorry for my going away
And all the sweethearts that e'er I've had
Would wish me one more day to stay
But since it falls unto my lot
That I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call
Good night and joy be with you all

I'm trying to get a hold of their director to encourage them to cover Allison Sattinger's "So Much Grace."

I haven't written any song worthy of having fourteen beautiful voices sing it... I better get going

    Peace and happy singing.
