Lost in Mary's Eyes again

I am hopeless, maybe a misfit but truly I am lost in Lady Mary's (Michelle Dockery's) eyes again.  Actually I have started seeing them everywhere, from a barista, to a TV reporter, to a sales associate, and of course my wife.  This could be a problem, and I could start a withdrawal program of say unsubscribing to the biggest Michelle Dockery Facebook fan page.

They posted a photo album of Michelle Dockery attending a photocall for the film ‘Non  Stop’ at The Dorchester on January 30, 2014 in London, England; and frankly I had to stop everything I was doing and just stare.  That's probably not good, but lets look at the bright side.  First, it helps my writing.  Good songs and lyrics come from intense passion either happy or sad.  No milk toast is allowed.  Second, I find myself being more kind and loving to women who remind me of Michelle and in a very gentle way.  It's like I realize I'll never be close to the real thing so be appreciative of the little things.  When possible I love to just talk to someone else with dark eyes peering politely in their eyes, or I glance over to catch a glimpse of some dark eye brows.  I'm as harmless as a hound dog, but it fills in the realness of these photos or TV spots.

I could claim it's a bucket list item to meet Michelle, but that would be silly... she would be polite, sign whatever I passed her, maybe pause for a picture and then leave.  Hell I want to sit down over a glass of wine and talk; and that won't happen.  I rationalize she's too tall for me anyway... HA.

Yes I want more than this, so I'll live with the beauty that surrounds me and reminds me of Michelle, and I recommend we all find another reason to smile and to be nice to one another.

Lady Mary I Love

On Twitter I'm amazed how many profiles are Lady Mary... I just am overwhelmed... I just love one, though I'm understanding she's really Michelle Dockery.. HA.

So as I'm watching posts or tweets, I am taken back to my desire to wrap my arms around the women and dance.  And of course why not to a waltz I wrote, and can sing in the quiet moments in the car on the way to work.

I do also read to much, and Michelle Dockery wishes she had a band... put me in Michelle, I'd love to be in a band with you.  Playing music live is such a rush of emotion... I wouldn't sleep until really late for an old fart like me.

oh yes.. .these are the words and I rarely share me singing them because it takes one of those "pretty voices'

Graceful and grand is your beauty
Tender and soft is your white skin
I gaze into your deep dark eyes
To lose myself once again.

There but a moment when we met
You fashioned my heart
In your alchemy

Casted a spell to tear me apart.
You fashioned my heart
In your alchemy

Graceful and grand is your beauty
Tender and soft is your white skin
I gaze into your deep dark eyes
To lose myself once again.

A season must pass until we meet
You stay in my mind
Each night and day

To renew a love more replete
You stay in my mind
Each night and day

Graceful and grand is your beauty
Tender and soft is your white skin
I gaze into your deep dark eyes
To lose myself once again.

Michelle Dockery - Audrey Hepburn

I follow many Michelle Dockery sites and when I saw this on the Facebook site https://www.facebook.com/pages/Michelle-Dockery/292307947458957
I thought oh now I know why she takes my breathe away, it's the Hepburn inside.  I did find this picture, don't you think I'm right?

Audrey Hepburn - audrey-hepburn Fan Art

Of course that reminded me of the time I sat down from lunch and a stranger who I never saw again sat down in front of me and captured that same feeling.

She walked slowly by the pieces of the past
Scarf wrapped up to her short-cropped hair
Somewhat out of place with Hepburn flair
Stubbornly, She’s stuck with a style that lasts.

She made her way to the café window table
Oblivious to her surroundings she went on-line
Reading, renewing and restoring lives entwined
Only pausing for an infrequent nibble on a bagel

He pictured her in front of bustling Paris street,
Much easier to finish the plot without any words
And on cue the music switched to jig on a dulcimer
He needed to leave and folded up his vision complete.

There you go, strangers at noon and never love.
He looked back and she was gone from her chair
Chuckled to himself, “was it real or just a dare”
The devil had dialed up one that would fit like a glove.

I even recorded it quickly...

Share your wealth..

My recommended global outreach is ELCA World Hunger mainly because they have boots already in all countries and they do not have big administrative costs filtering off a big percentage from the donations, but... as Michelle speaks about, do something to help.

Lady Mary's Eyes

I finished making a better recording of this is a Janis Ian song originally written for Mary Black, but I rephrased a mere few words for Lady Mary Crawley in Downton Abbey.  This time added some great shots of Lady Mary from google, I claim no ownership to the photos.   The song could be covered under the parody laws, but I truly claim no copyright to Janis's beautiful song. I do request that you search our Janis's song, or a cover by Gaelic Storm; and you too will be reminded that Lady Mary's Eyes accent her style with a warm auburn hue. The lyrics:

Mary's eyes are auburn hue
And her hair's Newcastle gold
And she walks the thin white line between the body and the soul.
She's as faithful to her history
As a servant to his task;
For she's standing on the bones of England's past.

Chorus:
She's singing of the graces
And the balance of the grand,
'Til I can almost feel my senses slipping through my trembling hand.
And I wonder as I hear her,
That the spirit still shines through
And she can reach across the ocean deep and break my heart in two...

Mary's wise and she is foolish;
She's as constant as the tide.
For it's a woman's heart that beats beneath that stubborn girl's pride.
We are saints and we are sinners,
We are heros we are theives. We are all of us servants on the road to the abbey.

Chorus

So let us cheer of glass of wine
To the East where Downton lies,
And we will stare across the waters
For a glimpse of Mary's eyes.
We are ships without a harbor,
We are sailors on dry land,
And the show goes on forever
Even though the Crawley's can't.

Mary's eyes.. oh my.

Wow... I've written classy lyrics to Mary Crawley's Eyes and Grace that really belong to Michelle Dockery... now should I work some hot lyrics to go with her outfit from SAG's.  Sorry, but there was no sag really noticed. ;-)

Graceful & Grand is Lady Mary Crawley... looking forward to season three

Waltz around my heart.... I'm looking for a good male voice to sing this for me... but until that waltz with my dreams, as Mary and Matthew tie the knot; and explore their happiness and their tensions of being a new couple.  My goal would be in season four they have an opportunity to waltz to this song in the background; so play the video over and over please.

Graceful and grand is your beauty
Tender and soft is your white skin
I gaze into your deep dark eyes
To lose myself once again.

There but a moment when we met
You fashioned my heart
In your alchemy

Casted a spell to tear me apart.
You fashioned my heart
In your alchemy

Graceful and grand is your beauty
Tender and soft is your white skin
I gaze into your deep dark eyes
To lose myself once again.

A season must pass until we meet
You stay in my mind
Each night and day

To renew a love more replete
You stay in my mind
Each night and day

Graceful and grand is your beauty
Tender and soft is your white skin
I gaze into your deep dark eyes
To lose myself once again.

My love for Lady Mary Crawley continues

As I sit in February, NFL over... my all-time favorite TV show Chuck is over.. Thank God for Downton Abbey Season Two... and my love for Lady Mary... played by the beautiful Michelle Dockery

Lonely the flower the blooms first in spring
Lonely the lady with no wedding ring
Stately she stands in gown so devine
Gently she weeps for him night after night

Mary’s a vision and he loves her dear
Pride and misfortunate has kept him from her
Fills with delight as he sees her each time
When will they be one he says in his mind

Humbly the servant prepares her to dine
Glances and pauses reveal her disguise
Matthew is coming; she’s brimming inside
Stoically she moves showing only her pride.

Precise the setting, and superb the wine.
Nothing compared to Mary at his side
Polite the manners, and coyly she smiles
Warming the eve in this cool British Isle.

The ballroom is empty; they stand face to face
He says it’s time to love and the past to erase
Snow falls and she smirkly says take a knee
Only to embrace with a passion so free.

Lady Mary Crawley's Eyes

I do apologize ignoring this blog... I have intentions of coming back with a charge... here's a recent passion.

Song was originally written by Janis Ian for the great Irish singer Mary Black , and I rephrased the wonderful song for Lady Mary Crawley from Downton Abbey. I have contacted Janis Ian to let her know I did this to her song, but I claim no ownership for this song or hers, it would not exist without Michelle’s performance of Mary or Janis’ original song.

Mary's eyes are auburn hue
And her hair's Newcastle gold
And she walks the thin white line between the body and the soul.
She's as faithful to her history
As a servant to his last;
For she's standing on the bones of England’s past.

Chorus:
She's singing of the graces
And the balance of the grand,
'Til I can almost feel my senses slipping through my trembling hand.
And I wonder as I hear her,
That the spirit still shines through
And she can reach across the ocean deep and break my heart in two...

Mary's wise and she is foolish;
She's as constant as the tide.
For it's a woman's heart that beats beneath that stubborn girl’s pride.
We are saints and we are sinners,
We are heros we are theives. We are all of us servants on the road to the abbey.

Chorus

So let us cheer of glass of wine
To the East where Downton lies,
And we will stare across the waters
For a glimpse of Mary's eyes.
We are ships without a harbor,
We are sailors on dry land,
And the show goes on forever
Even though the Crawley’s can't.

Chorus

Song made popular by Gaelic Storm, here are the original lyrics.
