Introducing Sugar Beats

Ah yes... Rachel Pearl has me wrapped around her finger... just flash that Mona Lisa smile and that dimple, and I'll ask what would you like me to do?... Like your new group... three attractive quality singers, great harmonies?.. a jazz coming of the Wailin Jenny's... I'm there.

"Rachel Pearl, Rebecca Sayre, and Kristin Porter are three independent artists. Put them together and WAM...it sure is sweet."

Songs in the kitchen Part 2

Rachel Pearl is my the angel I look up to hear that soft jazz sung in a smoky bar. I could envision having a Gin & Tonic or a Brandy Manhatten. Of course I posted her first offering of songs from the kitchen, and this one is even better. Now I don't think she's talking about this guy being a bore in the room... HA.

Funny Rachel is not my normal kind of music, or like my wife likes to say, "David you don't like that".... but I do just in small doses.. acoustic jazz beebop music. And Rachel is fun and great at the style. Here's her kitchen video:

Then my response had to be Tittabawasi Jane that I learned from Art Theime. Yes it's a sassy name, but it's really a river in Michigan.

Tonight we have three beautiful ladies

One silent for 15 seconds..Audrey Auld who did it for a promotion and a challenge for a 15 seconds of fame.

The second is Rachel Pearl. She's from my alter-ego tastes who would love to go jazz clubs, dressed in my finest suit, and drink martinis. One of these days I'll share one of my top ten favorite songs, Boz Scaggs, Sail on White Moon... or something like that. This is a cool interview and live cuts from Rachel.

And of course my regular, Allison Sattinger in a cover of Madonna's Borderline
